First Coast Romance Writers

First Coast Romance Writers, an affiliate of Romance Writers of America®, is an organization for both published and unpublished writers, as well as any individuals involved in the writing/publishing industry. The membership includes writers of all levels, from those working on their first manuscripts to award-winning authors.

The chapter is dedicated to promoting excellence in romantic fiction through monthly meetings and workshops in a comfortable forum where published and unpublished writers share knowledge about the constantly evolving publishing industry.

FCRW strives to help writers become published and establish careers with innovative programs, networking opportunities and pertinent information on effective marketing techniques for member's novels.

Ava Milone's manuscript, Dark Side, is a Maggie Finalist.

Kathy Bain is a finalist in the Royal Palm Literary Awards for the Florida Writer's Association for her manuscript "Breathless".

Vanessa Kelly's Mastering The Marquess is a finalist for the RomCon Readers' Crown Award - Best First Book.

Lena Diaz's manuscript, He Kills Me, He Kills Me Not, is a finalist in the Romantic Suspense Category of the 2010 The Daphne du Maurier Award For Excellence In Mystery/Suspense.

Vanessa Kelly's Mastering The Marquess placed second in two categories of the Golden Quill Award - Desert Rose Chapter: Best First Book and Best Regency Historical.
