Membership

First Coast Romance Writers, an affiliate of Romance Writers of America®, is an organization for both published and unpublished writers, as well any individuals involved in the writing/publishing industry. The membership includes writers of all levels, from those working on their first manuscripts to award-winning authors.

The chapter is dedicated to promoting excellence in romantic fiction through monthly meetings and workshops in a comfortable forum where published and unpublished writers share knowledge about the constantly evolving publishing industry.

FCRW strives to help writers become published and establish careers with innovative programs, networking opportunities and pertinent information on effective marketing techniques for member's novels.

Some of the many benefits are: A professional website offering published authors an opportunity to promote their work by linking to their personal websites. A book and tape library of seminars and lectures on writing and publishing.

FCRW also hosts an annual conference where best selling authors, editors and agents provide up-to-date, detailed information about the publishing industry.

How do I join FCRW?

You must be a member of Romance Writers of America to join FCRW. You can submit both applications simultaneously. Click on the link for Romance Writers of America® for a RWA® application. Follow the directions below to apply for FCRW membership.

FCRW Annual dues: $20.00

Note: Dues are not deductible as charitable expenses but may be deducted as a
business expense.
